Company

The term Company by and large has can be used in the general to mean any business structure, or legally, to refer to a limited liability company.

Corporation

A creature of statute, Corporations are registered with a or the secretary of state in which they are to be incorporated by filing the Articles of Incorporation, which gives them life.  Thereafter, they may operate under the corporate umbrella.  In order to form a company, you must file articles of incorporation and have bylaws, which govern how the corporation accepts the votes of its shareholders. Additionally, you need shareholder agreements which detail the rights of the shareholders.  Unlike LLCs, shareholders are not members of the organization.
